John Pike was First Officer and in charge of maintenance on this antique 1961 Hawker 1A. Its Rolls Royce Viper turbo jets would gulp 350 gallons an hour and made plenty of noise! It was a beautiful airplane with new paint and interior. John is type-rated in the Hawker and Cessna Citations.
